Network/Software Customer Support Representative (Mid Atlantic States)

ResLogic, based in the United States, is a rapidly growing company that offers innovative travel reservation and online travel booking engine solutions to leisure travel companies worldwide.

ResLogic is seeking a full time Network & Software/Customer Support Representative to support their fast growing online travel reservation system business for their growing base of worldwide customers. Telecommute from your home office location.


Responsibilities:

    • Support the IT systems for ResLogic and their customers.
    • Researches, resolves and responds to complex questions received via telephone calls or escalations, and provides support on services in accordance with current standards.
    • Acquires and maintains knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
    • Handle incoming software support email and phone calls. Provide help to customer or re-direct inquiry to others if beyond your scope.
    • Set-up, coordinate, and implement online software training for new customers.
    • Log all support time (billable and non billable).
    • Record customer reported software bugs and customer feature requests.
    • Assist with testing of new software versions.
    • Assist with the remote installation of new client installations and system updates.
    • Assist with online customer demonstrations of ResLogic’s reservation technology products.
    • Assist with creation of user documentation.
    • Attend industry trade shows, as necessary.
    • Conduct software-training onsite at our customer’s location. (Onsite training does not occur that often)

Qualifications & Experience:

    • Microsoft certification is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years related IT experience is required. Experience with Microsoft 2000 professional, Windows XP, Microsoft 2000, and Microsoft office production software required.
    • Experience with scripting languages preferred.
    • Native English speaker.
    • Excellent communication (verbal & written), and people skills.
    • Ability to handle many tasks at once.
    • Good follow through and organizational skills.
    • Technically-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically.
    • Knowledge of travel industry and experience with travel reservation software a big plus.
